Comprising a plastic valve body, a rotor assembly, and a Hall effect current sensor, this water flow sensor operates as follows: as water traverses through the sensor, the rotor rotates, and its rotation speed varies in direct correlation to changes in the water flow rate. The Hall effect sensor produces a corresponding pulse signal, which is indicative of the flow rate. In essence, the greater the volume of water passing through the sensor, the more pulses are generated, providing a precise measurement of the water flow rate.
